How To Remove Whiteheads

Whatever you call them, pimples, blackheads or whiteheads, its sure that they have to be removed and fast!

Whiteheads are pores blocked by dirt also known as closed comedones. The white is basically the trapped bacteria in the skin as a result of the small opening of the pores. Like blackheads, they can be squeezed out. However, for those who want to learn how to remove whiteheads, then know that this is not recommended.

Removal of Whiteheads

When trying to remove whiteheads, first make sure that your hands and face are clean. Steam your face to unclog the pores as well as wash it warm water. When drying up the wet skin, don’t rub your face with the towel and instead made deliberate pats on the face to remove excess water. Now, start squeezing the base of the whitehead downwards. This movement would break the skin cleanly. However, if the whitehead doesn’t make a clean break, then just leave it alone. Just wait for the pimple to ripen before doing it again. The reason for this is that when popped wrongly or done too soon, the whiteheads can leave an unsightly mark or scar that is even harder to remove.

Prevention

Teaching yourself how to get rid of pimples is every bit as important as learning how to prevent one.  Once the pimples are gone, you have to be sure that they won’t come back again. For this, make sure that no dirt blocks your pores. The usual methods are by applying salicylic acid or benzyl peroxide. You can also create your own cleanser if you want. Try using a mixture of oatmeal and milk to use as a face mask every three weeks. This should help you maintain closed pores. Combine that with proper hygiene and you may never get pimples again.

Learning how to get rid of pimples or pimples as they are commonly called can be frustrating. They take time to heal and one pops out before the other fades away. Plus, pimples are triggered by many factors. Although most can be avoided – like stress or lack of sleep – others can only be tolerated. For example, hereditary acne problems may only be controlled. The menstrual period is also a big pimple trigger. For this, the most you can do is control what’s going to happen. Anticipate it and start doing safety measures. Also, if you want to learn how to get rid of zits, then be patient. Most treatments takes time so don’t expect changes overnight. However, if you stick to your treatment of choice, then there shouldn’t be any problem.
